Statuette of an actor wearing a comedy mask, his legs and arms crossed

Knife handle with figure of a comic actor wearing a mask. The hair reaches the shoulders, the mask features a wide, pronounced mouth. The arms are bent: the right reaches towards the left shoulder, and both hands hold an object, possibly a piece of fabric or a bag, which falls over the back. The belly is prominent and adorned with a belt which hangs down on both sides. The figure wears a kilt reaching the knees. The legs are crossed, with the left in front of the right. The actor leans slightly backward, supported by a structure, possibly vegetal in form, resting on an inverted lotus flower. The ensemble rests on a rectangular base. The object is made in the lost-wax technique for solid casts.
