Amulet (?) depicting the Oxyrhynchus fish

Figure of Oxyrhyncus fish. The fish has a headdress composed of long horns and a solar disc; the right horn is broken. There is a suspension loop composed of two bands at the back of the headdress. The fish’s snout is facing downwards. Gills, fins, and scales are incised, the dorsal fin is incised with small oblique lines. The tail is heart-shaped. The fish is rather flat and rests on a thin base. The object is made in the lost-wax technique for solid casts.
