Decorative plaque depicting an aegis with a bull’s head flanked by two uraei. The upper section is shaped like an architrave, divided into two registers: the upper one shows a sequence of uraei, while the lower one is decorated with a winged solar disc. On either side of the plaque are two columns topped with a papyrus capital. At the centre is the aegis with the bull’s head. The bull is crowned with a solar disc between its horns, decorated with a uraeus. Cavities for inlays are present on the winged solar disc, on the solar discs of the bull and of the uraei, and on the aegis. The bull wears a tripartite wig and below the head is a collar with a recess for inlay. The two lateral uraei are crowned with a solar disc between their horns. The tails are bent backwards to form loops. On the back of the object, the suspension loop at the upper left is broken, and a symmetrical one probably existed on the right side. The object is made in the lost-wax technique for solid casts.
