Eros statuette

Figure of Eros. The head is framed by curls. The round face shows the main features rendered in a stylised manner. The neck is absent. Two small wings are set behind the shoulders. The left arm, slightly bent, is raised and holds an unidentified object; the right arm, also slightly bent, hangs down. The figure is naked, with a rounded abdomen. The torso is slightly turned to the right. The legs are joined, with the right one advanced. The figure stands on a small column with entasis at the lower part, placed on a circular base. The object is made in the lost-wax technique for solid casts.
