Statuette of Apis bull with adorant

Group consisting of an Apis bull and kneeling adorant on a rectangular base. The bull is striding, the left legs forward. The bull has a solar disc between his horns, decorated with the uraeus. A triangle is incised on the forehead. A winged figure is engraved on the withers. The back of the bull is slender. The tail runs along the right hind leg. The figure of an adorant is kneeling in front of the bull. His head is shaved. The figure holds a situla from which water flows. The adorant’s feet protrude from the short side of the base. The two figures rest on a thin base. The group is mounted on a modern black base. The object is made in the lost-wax technique for solid casts.
