Originally plastered and painted, it shows the deceased on the upper left wearing a garment obtained from a leopard skin and holding a scepter of sorts. Below are Kai’s parents and, further down, his brother Katepy and his sister Aset. In two lower panels, two individuals appear to be offering cloths that they are holding taut. The bearers of funerary offerings – a fruit basket, a staff and a bag, a goose and a duck – carved on the outer jambs guaranteed the deceased an eternal supply of all that he needed for his sustenance in the netherworld.
