The deceased is shown on both jambs of the false-door in different attitudes and wearing different wigs. On the right-hand jamb, he is accompanied and embraced by a woman whom the inscription identifies as “his beloved wife, Djefai.” The hieroglyphs written horizontally on the lintel and vertically on the jambs mention Ankhtef’s titles and names. One of the offices he held was that of funerary priest of the pharaoh Cheops.
