Statuette of the god Harpocrates

Standing figure of Harpocrates, striding with left leg forward. He wears the double crown; the lituus is missing, and the head of the uraeus is broken. The side-lock of youth is also broken. The god is bringing the index finger of his right hand to his mouth, while his left arm hangs by his side, with the hand clenched into a fist and pierced. A bronze element connects the feet. Two modern brass pins are inserted beneath the feet. The statuette is mounted on a modern wooden base. The object is made in the lost-wax technique for solid casts.
