Ptah statuette

Standing figure, probably representing the god Ptah. The figure is not clearly recognisable because it is covered by corrosion, particularly on the head. The figure wears a tight-fitting dress, its folded arms hold a sceptre, probably the was-sceptre. The feet rest on a hollow trapezoidal base from which a square tenon projects down. The object is made in the lost-wax technique for solid casts.
